In this short travel guide, I show you the best of what to see in Antwerp, Belgium. Enjoy the beautiful Grote Markt square, take in art filled cathedrals, and discover ancient folklore throughout the city. I also visit Rubens House and learn more about the famous painter, Peter Paul Rubens, admire the impressive Het Steen castle, and take in views of the city from the Mas Museum. I was there in December so had the added bonus of a Christmas market too! 🎄Looking for a short weekend getaway, full of beauty, culture, food (waffles!) and strong beer, then Antwerp could be the place for you. Amubuluwawa tower sits atop a mountain more than 3500ft above sea level. You can climb right to the top by following a 1000 step external staircase. The staircase gets narrower and narrower as you go up with just a small handrail for safety. It's probably not for those scared of heights, which includes me! But the views are truly spectactular, so I decided to face my fears and put myself to the test and see how high I could climb!More Sri Lanka videos coming soon.
