The Best of Georgia
Between the Black Sea and the towering Caucasus Mountains, Georgia is a country with a rich history and amazing scenery. It’s the birthplace of wine and one of the oldest Christian nations in the world. A land where history, culture, and dramatic landscapes come together.
It’s also one of the most affordable places to visit in Europe. So it makes for a perfect long weekend getaway, but I’d recommend 5 days to see as much as possible. The capital Tbilisi needs a day or two to explore itself, with its beautiful architecture, iconic sites, and incredible food. From here, I’d recommend taking day trips to the Kakheti wine region, the Kazbegi mountains, Msketha and the incredible Uplistsikhe cave city.
