A little about me

A current London resident, but this American girl is originally from Dallas, Texas!

Having always wanted to live abroad and travel the world, in 2009 I decided it was now or never, and randomly found a job in the land of tulips and wooden shoes.  It was truly a leap of faith packing up, moving abroad, and not knowing a soul. But what an incredible decision it was. I made so many wonderful friends while there, from all over the world and in some ways consider the city of Amsterdam my 2nd home.

In 2016, I decided to take the leap once again and relocated to the cultural mecca of the world, Jolly Ole’ London.  I have definitely made the most of the opportunity of living abroad and have traveled pretty extensively.  I’m at 63 countries under my belt now, and no plans on stopping anytime soon with so many more new places to visit and explore. 

I love giving travel advice and sharing my experiences abroad with fellow travelers or even people who just like to live vicariously. Many friends and family have asked why haven’t I ever started a blog, and perhaps the only reason I can find is laziness. Well it’s time to stop being lazy and share these stories with people, which is what brings us to this site now.
