My Top CUBA Travel Tips – What to Know Before You Go!
On this day tour I explore the Kakheti wine region in eastern Georgia! We visit the historic hilltop town of Sighnaghi, known as the "City of Love", and explore ancient monasteries like David Gareja and Bodbe Monastery of St. Nino. There's also the incredible views of the Alazani Valley and the colorful Rainbow Mountains to take in. Oh , and of course— I get to taste some incredible Georgian food (khachapuri and churchkhela), traditional qvevri wine and topped off with some chacha. :)It's a packed itinerary but it makes a great day tour from Tbilisi and one of the most beautiful and popular regions to visit in Georgia. Visiting the Kazbegi mountains makes for an amazing day trip from Tbilisi, Georgia. In just one day you can see the incredible Gergeti Trinity Church that sits amongst the mountains and gives you an incredible view of Mount Kazbek. Take in more breathtaking views at the Russia-Georgia Friendship monument, and Rooms Kazbegi in Stepantsminda, where you can also get a great lunch!Also squeezed into this tour is a visit to the Ananuri Fortress, the site of many historic battles, and the nearby Zhinvali Reservoir, which is an Instagram dream, with turquoise water and a rolling mountains backdrop.It's a long day but an incredible experience. Havana - MUST see sites in Cuba's capital
The Bay of Pigs has it all—nature walks, birdwatching, beautiful beaches, diving, and of course, revolutionary history. Here's my quick travel guide for those lucky enough to visit. It's part of the Zapata Swamp, which is one of the largest wetlands in the Caribbean, but also part of the Ciénaga de Zapata National Park, a UNESCO biosphere reserve.We were only able to stay two full days, but managed to squeeze in some snorkelling in the beautifully clear Cueva de los Peces, and go on a guided nature walk in Sendero Enigma de la Rocas. We also dropped by Museo de Girón to learn more about the famous battle in 1961. My 2-day travel guide to the amazing things to see and do in Viñales, Cuba. This beautiful town is situated in the dramatic landscape of the Viñales valley. Take a horse ride to the tobacco plantations and see how those famous cuban cigars are made, or visit Cayo Jutías to relax on the pristine and quiet beach and enjoy crystal clear waters. You can also just enjoy the colourful houses and quaint town with loads of bars, good food and Cuban music to enjoy.Viñales is just 2 hours drive away from Havana.
